If you have a HID ballast that has 2 wires coming out of it, but wish you use an D2S or D2R type bulb, this is a must have item without doing any modification on the harnesses. All you have to do is simply connect these connectors onto the 2-wired ballast and OEM/Aftermarket D2S/D2R bulb on the plug.The length for these D2S/D2R Converter is approx 9", it is longer than almost all conventional 3" plug converters in the market so it is much easier to install
